A full moon, almost clear night, 68 degrees. A short and sweet boat parade through the harbor. Our Mannheim Steamroller CD playing as I unboxed our Christmas place mats and napkins. Russ turned our solar Christmas lights strung along the stern rail, into battery operated ones which made them brighter than ever and they stay on until we “unplug” them.
Slowly, the Christmas spirit is inserting itself into our warm (not cold), floating (not a house with a fireplace) on water (not ice or snow) abode. We find it odd to see live trees for sale at Home Depot, thinking “how long can they last in these 79 degree temps?”
